LIPS® SYNTHESESTIFTE
A unique liquid handling technology revolutionizes peptide synthesis: the required synthesis building blocks are distributed via individual containers (synthesis pens). Each amino acid is provided in and distributed from its own dedicated synthesis pen. Identity and position of these pens are verified by the control software via 2D bar codes. When necessary, the pens are taken by a robotic arm, they are transferred to the microplate reaction chambers, where the amino acid is dispensed contamination-free. No need for tubing washes with large amounts of organic solvents. Rapid and economical.
