USPS® Technology Granted Patent in Australia

Hennigsdorf, Germany, 21.05.2026 – peptides&elephants is pleased to announce another milestone in its global growth strategy: the company’s proprietary USPS® technology has been officially patented in Australia. This follows recent patent grants in key global markets, including China, India, and Japan. The continuous worldwide validation underscores the uniqueness and global impact of this innovative approach to ultra-fast, fully automated peptide synthesis.

This success was achieved through the dedication of the development team and the continuous support of regional partners. The project is funded by the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) through Brandenburg’s ProFIT Innovation Program, and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/JTF in Brandenburg) and the State of Brandenburg. This regional financial backing is essential for translating visionary deep-tech concepts into scalable global solutions.

Hennigsdorf, Germany, 21.05.2026 – peptides&elephants has achieved another milestone: its proprietary USPS® technology for ultra-fast, fully automated peptide synthesis has been officially patented in Australia. This follows recent patent grants in China, India, and Japan, underscoring the global impact of this innovative technology.

This success was achieved with the support of regional partners. The project is funded by the Investitionsbank des Landes Brandenburg (ILB) through the ProFIT program, and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF/JTF) and the State of Brandenburg – a vital backing for translating deep-tech concepts into scalable solutions.

Highlights from CIMT 2026: Collaborations, Lunch & Learn, and Our Traditional Raffle 

Mainz, Germany, 13.05.2026 – peptides&elephants concluded a successful participation at the CIMT 2026 Annual Meeting, held at the Rheingoldhalle in Mainz. As one of the premier European conferences for cancer immunotherapy, the event provided an excellent platform for the company to connect with leading international experts and present its latest solutions in peptide synthesis.

High-Level Science and Expert Discussions 

Throughout the event, the peptides&elephants team, led by CEO Dr. Oliver Kreuzer, welcomed numerous scientific and industry partners at Booth 1. The discussions focused heavily on specialized requirements for custom peptide synthesis in clinical trials, as well as the strategic expansion of the company’s comprehensive Peptide Pool catalog for personalized immunotherapy.

A Traditional Highlight: The Plush Elephant Raffle

Beyond the scientific program, the booth maintained one of peptides&elephants' most popular event traditions: the legendary plush elephant raffle. We are delighted to announce that this year's plush elephant has found a new home in Sweden. It has joined a dedicated team performing impactful, innovative work in the field of cancer treatment.

His presentation, titled "Revisiting shared antigens as therapeutic targets in solid cancers," drew significant interest from the immunology community.

Following the lecture, the booth served as a central hub for deep-dive discussions on the presented findings and their practical application in modern oncology.

A Delicious Tradition: peptides&elephants Celebrates Annual Spring Outing

Kremmen, Germany, 17.04.2026 – Gathering for a seasonal lunch during the regional asparagus season is a cherished tradition at peptides&elephants. This week, the team continued this annual ritual with a trip to the well-known asparagus farm in Kremmen. 

While the spring weather moved the gathering indoors this year, the team enjoyed a wonderful lunch in a unique setting inside a charmingly decorated tent. 

The regional asparagus harvest is a seasonal highlight in Brandenburg. For peptides&elephants, this annual outing serves as an opportunity to step away from the laboratory and office routines, connect across departments, and celebrate the team's strong community spirit.
