peptides&elephants GmbH, a leading European supplier of synthetic peptides, is seeking a qualified
Bench Chemist, PhD (m/w/d)
to join our team in Hennigsdorf (conveniently located northwest of Berlin with direct S-Bahn and freeway access).
We manufacture peptides for research and development using our in-house automated synthesis systems.
The successful candidate will be a chemist with expertise in peptide synthesis, capable of independently planning, executing, and accurately documenting experiments and reports. A deep understanding of current literature and proficiency in literature research are essential.
You will have the opportunity to work with Ultra Sonic Peptide Synthesis (USPS®), the latest in peptide synthesis technology. Utilizing our proprietary USPS® Robots Platform, integrated into a state-of-the-art IoT infrastructure, you will help take the world's fastest fully automated technology for high-throughput parallel peptide synthesis to the next level.
We are looking for someone with a strong hands-on mentality who enjoys combining chemistry with automation technology, as we establish the peptide laboratory of the future.
Your tasks will include:
Collaborating with the existing lab team to optimize production regarding:
- Synthesis scale
- Activator reagents
- Coupling conditions
- Coupling efficiency
- Post-synthesis processing
