Peptide libraries are ideal to execute Structure-Activity-Relationship (SAR) Analysis, T-Cell Stimulation, Neoantigen Characterization, Proteome Analysis and Vaccine development. Post-translational modifications can be incorporated in a defined manner.

Microtiter plates and peptides

Without modifications, the peptides of the peptide library have a free amine at the N-terminus and an amide at the C-terminus. Each peptide of the peptide library is individually synthesized, characterized and cleaved. The peptide library is shipped lyophilized – either with each peptide in a single vial or composed in microtiter plates.

Peptide pools contain the entire peptide library in just one vial. This allows you to screen antigens and evaluate T cell responses extremely efficiently and cost-effectively. Peptide pools typically represent a complete protein by mapping its primary amino acid sequence into individual 15mer peptides, each overlapping by 11 amino acids.

However, peptide pools can also contain several short peptide sequences that represent key immunodominant epitopes of various viruses. Our customized pooling service mixes the full range of peptide pools: from master pools covering the entire protein, to sub-pools, matrix pools and mini-pools. This allows you to perform a comprehensive antigenic characterization of your protein with only one synthesis.
